Rabat - Director General of Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharief Agency, Abdelkebir Alaoui Mdaghri, held here on Monday, talks with Governor of Al-Quds, Adnan Al Husseini, on the situation in Al Quds and the means to give the Agency a larger role in the holy city.
The talks focused on reinforcing the Agency's actions in terms of supporting the inhabitants of Al-Quds and protecting the holy city’s identity, holy places and monuments from judaisation attempts, a press release of the Agency said.
Al Husseini underscored the vanguard role in the protection of the holy city played by King Mohammed VI, Chairman of Al-Quds Committee, and underlined the strong solidarity of the Moroccan people with their Palestinian brothers.
Al Husseini expressed deep appreciation for the considerable actions taken by the Agency in Al-Quds and its reputation among the Palestinian people and institutions.
For his part, M’daghri paid tribute to Al Husseini for his efforts in promoting and supporting the Agency's actions.
During the meeting the two parties also examined the progress in the implementation of the Agency’s projects in the holy city.
