Noting that fundraising operations continue in Moroccan banking institutions, the agency said that H.M. King Mohammed VI has allocated a sum of five million dollars from his private funds to restore the agronomy college at Al-Azhar University in Gaza and not Al-Quds as reported by some media outlets.

    Domestic media has done a good job highlighting the various actions of the agency, which has launched projects benefiting the holy city and its population, the same source said.

    It is the duty of Arabs and Muslims to support this pioneering institution in implementing the decisions which stem from the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) and the Arab League, it added.

    The document called for institutions and civil society organizations in Morocco and abroad to support the agency's efforts.
